以天主教弥撒仪式，追思2010年诺贝尔和平奖得主、中国民主运动先锋暨作家刘晓波的一生志业，同时声援北京诗人、艺术家与维权人士刘霞。

仪式中将邀请下列贵宾朗读刘晓波、刘霞诗文作品：

贝丽特・瑞斯・安德森，挪威诺贝尔奖委员会主席

胡安・门德斯，美利坚大学教授、前联合国酷刑问题特别报告员

李晓蓉，独立学者

杨建利，公民力量主席

欢迎公众参加，座位有限，上午9:30开始入席

A Celebration of Liu Xiaobo and Liu Xia

by Remembering Liu Xiaobo and Liu Xia

DESCRIPTION

A memorial service commemorating the life and work of Liu Xiaobo, the recipient of the 2010 Nobel Peace Prize and one of China's foremost pro-democracy activists and writers, and celebrating Liu Xia, the Beijing-based poet, artist, and activist.

The service will include messages from House Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi and Congressman Chris Smith, as well as readings of Liu Xiaobo and Liu Xia's works by:

• Berit Reiss-Andersen, Chair of the Norwegian Nobel Committee
• Juan Mendez, Professor at American University and former UN Special Rapporteur on Torture
• Li Xiaorong, independent scholar
• Yang Jianli, President of Initiatives for China

Open to the public, seating limited. Doors will open at 9:30AM.
